The first row decides it. A recorder you can forget to start does not record.
What the AI actually does
- Transcription of spoken Hebrew, with speaker separation - who said what.
- Summary: what was agreed, what needs doing, amounts, dates. On Premium - a detailed summary of every topic and commitment.
- Tasks and meetings identified in the call and added to the calendar (Pro and Premium).
- New-customer detection: an unknown number gets a card, and if the call was missed - a WhatsApp message with a form.
- A WhatsApp assistant that retrieves: "what did I agree with Danny?", "when is the meeting with the Levi family?" - answered from the calls.
- Search across everything that was said, in every call.
A real summary (details changed): "Yossi (Herzl St.) approved the quote, 25,000 ₪ in two payments, first on signing. Work starts Sunday 09:00. Tasks: send documents today."
Why recording happens on the line, not on the phone
On iPhone no app can record calls, and an external device only records what it can hear. HaRoshemet records the call itself, on the mobile network (Pelephone or HOT Mobile) - before it reaches the handset. So it does not depend on the phone, its battery, an app, or your memory. Privacy
Recordings and transcripts are stored on Google Cloud, encrypted, with each business's data isolated and visible only to its own users. You can delete calls in the app, export everything, and on cancellation data is deleted within 30 days. In Israel a party to a call may record it (this is not legal advice).

Frequently asked questions
For phone calls - yes, with nothing to clip on or switch on. For in-person meetings - no: HaRoshemet records only calls on the phone line. Some businesses keep both.
Yes. Recording happens on the mobile network, not on the phone, so it does not depend on the device's data connection. Even a call that arrived while the phone was off shows up.
Hebrew. On Pro and Premium, HaRoshemet also transcribes and summarises calls in other languages.
Yes - the simplest way possible: say "רשמתי" ("noted") mid-call and HaRoshemet turns it into a task (and a calendar event if a date was said). The summary itself is generated from the whole call.
